Little Moons is expanding its lighter and HFSS-compliant Refreshos range with the launch of Lemon & Elderflower – a light and refreshing fruity sorbet that’s bursting with flavour and will be available exclusively in Tesco from 9th March.
Inspired by the viral trend of Amalficore and everything lemon-based, which grew from TikTok and seeped into fashion, travel and interior design, the new variety of Refreshos are set to once again place Little Moons at the front of the snack pack crowd with a trend-setting blend of carefully selected ingredients, hand crafted in small batches.
Wrapped in Little Moons’ signature mochi, Lemon & Elderflower Refreshos offer a modern portion controlled frozen snack that taps directly into consumer demand for lighter, fruit led treats. HFSS compliant and at just 56 calories per bite, it’s ideal for everyday snacking moments.
The launch further reinforces Little Moons’ position as a category leader in the frozen snacking category, as the brand continues to innovate within the popular ice cream desserts category which is up 8.9% yoy[1]. Since Little Moons’ inception, it has been instrumental in helping to transform consumer behaviour and make the freezer aisle a true snacking destination, not just a place for traditional ice cream formats.
By bringing trend-led flavours, portion control and cultural relevance to frozen, Lemon & Elderflower Refreshos join the growing Refreshos range, continuing Little Moons’ mission to elevate frozen snacking with flavours inspired by global trends, social moments and modern tastes, redefining how and when consumers enjoy a little treat.
Ross Farquhar, Director of Marketing, Innovation and Sustainability comments: “When we spotted the rapidly growing appetite for everything Italian and lemon-themed on TikTok, we knew we had to get involved. New Lemon & Elderflower Refreshos brings an ice cold moment of joy inspired by hot Italian summers, making the freezer aisle a must visit for starting summer early. ”
