With Halloween spending in the UK predicted to rise in 2025[1] Ginsters is set to tap into shopper demand with the launch of a brand new, Limited Edition, Halloween themed pasty. The new Ginsters Haunted Hog Roast Pasty (180g), RRP of £2.25, will hit shelves this October, satisfying shoppers seeking a savoury Halloween treat.
Ginsters’ expert chefs have conjured up a spooktacular recipe to mark the occasion, combining deliciously tender 100% British Pork with sage and onion stuffing, locally sourced potatoes and onions and no artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives. Served with a touch of tang-tilising apple sauce and encased in golden baked puff pastry, the new Ginsters Limited Edition Haunted Hog Roast Pasty will leave taste buds screaming for more this Halloween. Served at its best straight out of the oven or an air fryer, the new Limited Edition will definitely be a tasty treat for shoppers this spooky season.
Ginsters’ new Limited Edition Haunted Hog Roast Pasty follows hot on the heels of a raft of innovation from Savoury Pastry category leaders, Ginsters in 2025, including new on-the-go snack size Ginsters Pockets and the Ginsters Limited Edition Heinz Beanz & Cheese Slice.
Sarah Babb, Ginsters Marketing Director, commented: “Ginsters continues to lead the way in flavour innovation for the Savoury Pastry category. Since we first launched our Limited Edition Halloween Pasty it has been a hit with younger shoppers who are looking for inspiration at Savoury Pastry fixtures. This year we’ve delivered even more taste sensations into the category with recent launches and we’re confident that our brand new, Halloween Haunted Hog Roast Pasty is sure to continue the momentum and excitement.”
The Limited Edition seasonal specialty will be stocked in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Heron Foods from 30th September.
