Monty Bojangles, the multi-award-winning UK confectionery brand, has announced the appointment of Jamie Lowe as Head of Commercial, marking a new role within the company.

Reflecting the growth of the business, which has seen the brand break through £25m retail sales, having also won multiple awards across food taste, confectionery, design, product and SME Export, Jamie’s role will see him drive the sales agenda forward, with a clear plan to double the business over the course of the next three years.

With a career spanning over thirty years, Jamie brings with him a wealth of experience across the world of snacking and confectionery, with previous roles including Sales Director at Big Bear Confectionery. Most recently, Jamie held the position of Head of Sales at Ritter Sport for eight years, where he played a central role in transforming the P&L and doubling the business during this time.

Jamie says, “I am delighted to join the Monty Bojangles team, and since day one I have been made to feel extremely welcome. The business is everything I had hoped it would be, and it’s fantastic to work with so many talented and high performing like-minded people. There is clearly a lot of love for the Monty Bojangles brand from customers and consumers alike and my priority is very much to work with our brand partners to build the distribution over the coming months. Consumers love our vibrant new brand re-design, and it will be fantastic to share our exciting marketing plans with the trade later this year. My team know that every single customer is important to us, and we will continue to work closely with them, but the scope for further growth is huge, and I look forward to working alongside my team to accelerate growth with key retailers, both in store and online.
