Windmill Organics, the number one organic food supplier to leading UK retailers, is pleased to announce the launch of a new HFSS-compliant protein-filled snack range, as well as two new kombuchas, which are all available to retailers from March onwards.
First of the new additions is the organic ProFusion Protein Puffs which are available to retailers now with an RRP of £1.99. Perfectly suited to the main crisp aisle, this healthy new range offers a clean label protein snack which bridges the gap between wholefood and functional snacking. Containing light, crunchy, savoury puffs which deliver 10g plant protein per 40g pack, they are a clean, healthier alternative to traditional crisps, ideal for lunchboxes, post-gym or on-the-go snacking. Available in both Paprika & Himalayan Salt and Lemon & Black Pepper variants (with more to follow), they combine bold, on-trend flavours with organic, plant-based ingredients and no artificial additives, so ticking the box for flavour-first health seekers.
The UK kombucha market is now worth £33m* driven by strong demand for premium, low-sugar and gut-friendly soft drinks. Windmill Organics is introducing three new organic kombuchas across its Biona and RAW Vibrant Living brands. Under Biona, a new Passion Fruit & Lemon kombucha launches with an RRP of £3.39. Brewed from organic fermented tea and live cultures, it offers a naturally low-sugar, lightly sparkling option positioned to premiumise and appeal to health focused shoppers seeking functional soft drinks. RAW Vibrant Living is also making its move into functional drinks launching two organic kombuchas – Peach and Apple & Blackberry, both with an RRP of £2.39. Brewed with live cultures and organic fruit juices, both variants are free from artificial sweeteners and concentrates, offering retailers a clean-label option within the fast-growing functional drinks segment.
Gemma Williams, Head of Marketing at Biona’s parent company Windmill Organics, comments; “Protein and functional drinks remain two of the most dynamic areas in grocery, with retailers are increasingly looking for options that meet HFSS requirements and respond to growing scrutiny around ultra-processed foods. Our new ProFusion Protein Puffs bring organic, wholefood protein into the mainstream crisp aisle, while our kombucha range allows retailers to premiumise soft drinks with organic, low-sugar options that align with demand for gut health and clean-label credentials. Together, these launches are designed to deliver incremental growth across both snacking and functional drinks.”
