Kite Packaging has just announced the launch of the Invisipen, a pen-style thermal label eraser which removes sensitive information from direct thermal labels in seconds.

Small and simple to use, it lets packing and dispatch teams remove names, addresses and order numbers without tearing labels off or creating a mess. It helps organisations meet data-protection requirements and cut label-related mistakes.

The Invisipen works by dispensing a quick-drying fluid that reacts with thermal prints to make them unreadable. Apply in a steady stroke over the printed area, wait a few seconds for the reaction to finish, and the text will be erased. Ideal for busy fulfilment desks where speed matters and handling multiple can cause misdelivery or returns.

Ingredients are as follows: 40% dimethyl formamide, 40% propylene carbonate and 20% diethyl phthalate.

Key benefits:

  • Removes print from direct thermal labels quickly and cleanly.
  • Helps businesses comply with GDPR and other data-privacy obligations.
  • Reduces mispicking and returns by allowing staff to neutralise obsolete or duplicate label data on the spot.
  • Compact form fits into packing trays and pockets.

“Our new thermal label data eraser offers a quick, reliable way to neutralise printed data, making everyday packing more secure and less error-prone,” said a spokesperson from Kite Packaging. “Teams can correct labelling issues at the point of packing, which saves time and costly returns.”

The Invisipen is now available from Kite Packaging. For product enquiries, samples or more information, contact Kite’s team on 024 7642 0065.
