• Pop Tarts and Rice Krispies Squares get new flavour creations

Cereal and snacks giant Kellogg’s is expanding its range with the introduction of six irresistible new treats,  which landed into supermarkets this July.

Pop Tarts and Rice Krispies Squares have range expansions, while the brand is also introducing two new products in Kellogg’s High Protein Bars and Oaties Bars.

With 1.3m buyers in the UK and sales growth of 25% over the last four years[1], Pop Tarts’ line up will be joined by Frosted Choco Orange flavour. The new variant of the American favourite is an indulgent chocolate flavoured Pop Tart paired with a tangy burst of citrus flavour, crisp icing and orange sprinkles– perfect for shoppers looking for an afternoon pick me up. Available in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Tesco stores now at RRP £3.00 for a box of eight[2]

Rice Krispies Squares will also be expanding its range, with the introduction of Honeycomb & Chocolate Flavour. The Squares brand has gone from strength to strength, with value sales growth up 13.2% year on year and +117.6% vs 2021[3]. The latest launch incorporates Rice Krispies infused with rich, golden honeycomb and topped with a smooth chocolate flavoured drizzle, the new snack is perfect for on the go snack. Available in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons now before rolling out into other major retailers, RRP £2.25 for a pack of four[4]

Kellogg’s High Protein Bars is landing on shelves this month. Protein continues to be the growth engine of the cereal bar category, it is the biggest and fastest growing segment[5] and this new bar contains 8g. Kellogg’s new launch contains salty almonds, nuts and chocolate creating a multi-textured boost that’s both crunchy and smooth. Available in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons now before rolling out into other major retailers. Available in Almond and Dark Chocolate Flavour and Almond and Salted Caramel Flavour, RRP £2.50 for a pack of four[6]

Following the successful launch of its first oat-based cereal, Oaties, at the start of the year, Kellogg’s has now introduced Oaties cereal bars. The new snack contains 55% wholegrain oats and is a source of fibre. The bars will be available in both Chocolate & Oat flavour and Honey & Oat. The two variants provide a mid-morning or afternoon snack. Available in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons now before rolling out into other major retailers, RRP £2.25 for a pack of four[7].
