Hungry Boar, the high protein meat snack brand that has rapidly built a loyal following since its launch last year, is expanding its range with the introduction of two new five-pack multipacks into Tesco’s chilled aisle, from 13 April 2026.  The move follows strong customer demand for the brand’s single-pack Sticklers, which were trialled on clip strips in Tesco’s crisps and snacks aisles from launch.

Building on the success of the singles, the brand is now rolling out a 5 x 30g multipack format in two flavours:  Flamin’ Piri Piri and Original Pork. The multipacks feature Hungry Boar’s improved recipe with high protein, gluten free credentials and reduced fat and salt, meeting the needs of busy, health-conscious snackers looking for flavour, convenience and better-for-you options.

Hungry Boar has quickly built a strong following among medium and heavy snackers, gymgoers, commuters and grab and go shoppers. Its bold flavour profile, high protein positioning and distinctive clan-building social presence have driven repeat purchase and strong retailer interest. The move into multipacks brings Hungry Boar into a key growth format for the category, offering families and frequent snackers a better value, ready to stock up option.

The launch is supported by a £1m marketing campaign, doubling the brand’s 2025 investment, and is designed to build awareness, drive trial and convert shoppers at fixture. A high impact digital and OOH plan will run across transport hubs, gyms and commuter routes near supported Tesco stores, using a dynamic creative that adapts to context.  Programmatic display and video will target shoppers around Tesco locations and interest groups such as gymgoers, sports fans and craft beer drinkers, supported by paid social, Google ads and retargeting to reinforce purchase intent.

Alongside this, a nationwide sampling and experiential programme will bring the brand to life at major family events. The Boar Tour will deliver high impact trial moments and social content, ensuring both consumer and trade audiences experience the product first hand.
