Evri and Asda has today announced a new partnership that will see the rollout of ParcelShops in all Asda stores — marking a first for a UK supermarket.
The partnership will allow customers to collect and return parcels from thousands of different retailers, at their local Asda store, offering added convenience ahead of the busy festive period
The service has recently launched in over 300 Asda locations, its Express convenience sites and some of its supermarkets and superstores.
It will eventually be rolled out to all 1,200 Asda stores across the UK by April next year.
The new service will make it even more convenient for customers to shop with Asda as they can pick up their groceries and collect parcels in one trip, reflecting Asda’s focus on offering a range of services under one roof.
With over 97% of urban consumers already within one mile of an Evri pick-up/drop-off point, the expansion also highlights the growing popularity of out-of-home (OOH) delivery networks.
The announcement follows Evri’s £50 million investment, revealed in June 2025, to double its network of ParcelShops and Lockers to 25,000 locations by 2030.
Martijn de Lange, Chief Executive at Evri, said: “This landmark agreement with fellow Leeds-based Asda strengthens our commitment to creating a delivery network fit for the modern UK shopper, directly giving them choice, convenience and control.
“We are excited about the opportunities this new partnership will bring, helping to us further drive our ambition to expand our capabilities and deliver an even more comprehensive, cost-effective, and customer-focused service across the UK and beyond.”
Chris Hall, Vice President, Logistics at Asda, added: “One of the things that sets Asda apart is our unmatchable mix of services, so we’re delighted to be partnering with Evri to be able to launch a brand-new one just in time for the festive season.
“We know how much our customers value convenience, and this service gives them the flexibility to collect or return an Evri parcel whether they’re popping in for a pint of milk in one of our Express stores or doing their big shop in one of our larger stores.”
