Færch Plast supplies top quality packaging for curry products destined for Irish supermarkets.
Leading European supplier of high quality plastics trays and containers for the food industry, Færch Plast Ltd is now producing around 70% of the packs for Kohinoor Foods Ltd’s supermarket clients in Ireland.
The family-owned Asian ready meals manufacturer, which has been operating for 30 years and is one of Ireland’s largest food companies, produces a wide range of spices, curry sauces, rices and other authentic vegetarian cuisine.
With the help of Bunzl Irish Merchants, its sole distributor in Ireland (ROI and NI), Færch Plast won the business to supply around 12,000 packs every week to Kohinoor, comprising black half gastro CPET trays, as well as special anti-fog film.
The trays are used to package Kohinoor’s balti house ranges for supply to major supermarkets.
