As consumers seek out new flavour experiences, Haldiram’s has launched a range of six exclusive ice creams at its flagship Leicester Square restaurant.
Available now, the collection draws inspiration from some of India’s best-loved desserts, drinks and flavour combinations, reimagined for the London market.
Six flavours
Created exclusively for the restaurant, the range includes:
- Royal Rose Falooda
- Jamun Kala Khatta
- Choco Mocha
- Milk Cake Crumble
- Saffron & Mango
- Masala Chai
Priced at £4.50 per scoop, the range has been designed to introduce consumers to a different side of Indian food culture through flavours rarely found on traditional UK ice cream menus.
Inspired by India’s favourite desserts and drinks
Some of the strongest performers so far include Jamun Kala Khatta, a vegan sorbet inspired by the nostalgic Indian kala khatta flavour and Masala Chai, which transforms one of India’s most iconic beverages into an indulgent frozen dessert.
Many of the flavours take inspiration from traditional Indian sweets and drinks. Milk Cake Crumble features pieces of real milk cake folded through the ice cream, while Royal Rose Falooda is inspired by the classic rose-flavoured dessert drink. Saffron & Mango combines Alphonso mango with saffron, while Masala Chai brings the distinctive blend of tea and spices into a new format.
The range has been developed exclusively for Haldiram’s Leicester Square restaurant, bringing a fresh take on some of India’s best-loved desserts and drinks to the heart of London.
