The Noledge Group, the financial management and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions specialist, has launched sruu, an integrated retail platform that gives forecourt and convenience operators deeper business insight, streamlines back-office processes and helps reduce energy costs across single and multi-site estates.
The group has invested over £200,000 in the launch and expects sruu to generate more than £850,000 in group revenue by 2028. The move will create 10 new jobs over the same timeframe, spanning product development, support, finance, sales and marketing, as the business gears up to meet rising demand from retailers for digital tools.
sruu is the evolution of Noledge’s Connections platform, purpose-built for a convenience and forecourt sector that is becoming increasingly digitalised. It brings together electronic point-of-sale (EPOS), supplier, accounting and energy data in one place and already serves more than 600 stores across the UK and Ireland. The company plans to double that figure within three years. Customers include UK forecourt and convenience operators Jos Richardson & Son and Sewell on the go, alongside Corrib Oil and Jump Juice Bars in Ireland.
Ladislav Zimanyi, Head of Operations at sruu, said: “sruu is a one-stop-shop for retailers to automate their business processes and improve their operational visibility. It is scalable as businesses continue to grow and simplifies continued expansion as new retail sites are added. In addition, the ability to leverage business data to spot trends or patterns in a rapidly changing retail landscape and as consumer demand continues to shift will help stores to keep pace with their competitors. We are on an ambitious growth path and plan to expand our presence in response to increasing demand for digital capabilities among businesses. There is a new generation of retailers emerging in the digital age and we’re looking forward to becoming a key part of their journeys.”
Built for retailers managing operations across one or many locations, sruu connects systems that typically sit in isolation, from sales and stock to financial reporting, cutting the complexity of running dispersed estates and supporting faster, data-led decisions on the shop floor and in head office.
By reducing manual administration and giving teams quick access to the data and systems they rely on, the platform frees up time for retailers to focus on the in-store customer experience. Its energy modules, which analyse, control and automate energy use across sites, are also designed to help operators bring down costs and cut carbon emissions.
With its customer base set to double over the next three years, sruu is now working with forecourt and convenience operators of every size across the UK and Ireland to put connected, data-led decision-making within reach of every store. More information is available at www.sruu.co.uk
