Say hello to Hello Kitty as Finsbury Food Group expands its licensed celebration cake portfolio with the launch of its first-ever cake inspired by the iconic character, arriving exclusively in Tesco stores nationwide from the 1st of June.
Created in partnership with Sanrio, the global lifestyle brand behind Hello Kitty, the celebration cake brings the much-loved character to the UK supermarket cake aisle, combining playful design with crowd-pleasing flavours.
The cake features striking pink coloured vanilla sponge layered with jam and a smooth white filling, finished with piped frosting, colourful sprinkles and the instantly recognisable Hello Kitty design. Serving up to 16 people and weighing 0.89kg, the cake is ready to turn birthdays, sleepovers and celebrations into purr-fectly memorable occasions.
The launch marks the first time Finsbury Food Group’s innovative development team has incorporated pink vanilla sponge into a character-licensed cake, adding an extra layer of personality to the product.
As licensed celebration cakes continue to perform strongly across UK retail, character-led products remain a popular choice for birthdays and family occasions.
