Delamere has launched a brand-new range of flavoured milks, inspired by some of British sweet maker Swizzels’ most iconic creations, which is set to bring back a little taste of childhood.
The Delamere & Swizzels flavoured milk range features three distinct, nostalgic flavours in a convenient 240ml glass bottle format: Squashies Drumstick Raspberry & Milk, Squashies Rhubarb & Custard and Lemon Refreshers.
Available to retailers from July with an RRP of £1.17, the new products, which mark the brand’s first-ever collaboration, bring something new to retailers’ summer offerings, delivering a refreshing, on-the-go treat for shoppers of all ages.
Inspired by the sweets that have been loved for generations and the simple pleasure of a glass bottle of milk, Delamere & Swizzels flavoured milk has been created to support retailers in driving impulse sales and appealing to the appetite for a contemporary twist on nostalgic flavours, formats and experiences.
Jessica Page, brand manager at Delamere Flavoured Milk, said: “As our first-ever collaboration, the launch of this range with Swizzels is a really exciting milestone. Nostalgia is a huge trend at the moment and by reimagining retro flavours, we’re bringing together trusted heritage, playful nostalgia and great tasting flavoured milk in a way which really resonates with today’s consumers.
“We’re confident that the on-the-go format and traditional glass bottle, coupled with the instantly recognisable Swizzels flavours and notes of nostalgia, will be a hit with a wide range of shoppers looking for something fresh, fun and affordable to try.”
The new range marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between Delamere and Swizzels, with further flavours being explored for key seasonal occasions throughout this year and beyond.
Commenting on the launch, Sarah-Louise Heslop, head of marketing at Swizzels, said: “Collaborating with Delamere felt like a natural fit, given the strong British roots and long-standing reputation for quality and taste that both brands possess. We hope the range will transport consumers back to childhood memories, blending the comfort of the past with a modern twist that appeals across generations and helps both brands tap into new audiences. For retailers, it’s a must-stock in the height of summer with shoppers seeking a refreshing treat that can be enjoyed on days out, picnics, journeys and more.”
The collaboration has been brokered through Blonde Sheep Licensing, who have played a key role in bringing the partnership together and ensuring the successful alignment of both brands.
Natasha Dyson, founder & CEO of Blonde Sheep Licensing, said: “This partnership is a brilliant example of how licensing can bring together two trusted British brands to create something both nostalgic and genuinely exciting for consumers.”
