Ferrero UK is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Kinder Bueno Dark, a new addition designed to broaden the brand’s appeal and help drive additional sales for retailers. Available from February, the launch introduces a more intense cocoa taste to the popular Kinder Bueno bar, while maintaining the signature taste and texture shoppers know and love.
The launch builds on the strong performance of Kinder Bueno within the ‘chocolate snack’ category, where the brand is now worth £89m[1], with 77% brand recognition across the UK[2]. Currently the 4th largest brand[3] in the category by value sales, Kinder Bueno continues to demonstrate strong shopper demand and repeat purchase.
Kinder Bueno Dark has been developed to attract shoppers seeking a more intense and premium chocolate option, while remaining within a familiar and trusted format. The new bar combines a crispy wafer and smooth hazelnut filling, coated in dark chocolate and finished with a dark chocolate drizzle. With white, milk and now dark variants, Kinder Bueno offers retailers a well-rounded flavour range that caters to differing shopper preferences, supporting increased choice and incremental category growth.

Kinder Bueno Dark will be available from February in Tesco and Morrisons.
