Primula is bringing back a festive favourite that shoppers couldn’t get enough of last year: Pigs in Blankets cheese spread.
The limited-edition flavour pairs Primula’s deliciously creamy cheese with smoky notes of pigs in blankets. With real cheese in every squeeze, it’s ideal with Yorkshire puddings, dolloped on hot roast potatoes, or paired with seasonal breads and crackers.
With Brits devouring nearly 600 million pigs in blankets over the festive season[i], this new festive flavour is the perfect fridge staple over the Christmas period and is set to deliver incremental value and drive seasonal footfall.
Available from Today, exclusively in Iceland, fans have already shared their excitement about the flavour returning. One social media user said, “this is peak Christmas snacking[ii]” and another added “Soooo excited for this to be back![iii]”
The product will be available as part of Iceland’s Christmas 5 for £5 multi-buy deal in-store (10 for £10 online), so shoppers can mix, match and squeeze their way to tasty savings.
