Cult coffee brand Grind announces the launch of its first-ever Craft Instant Coffee, designed to make it easier and quicker than ever to make a café-worthy speciality brew at home. The collection includes two smooth Barista Blends— regular and decaf—both of which are now available to purchase online and in-store at Sainsbury’s, and will be arriving at Waitrose, Amazon, and grind.co.uk from 13th October.

Crafted with the same care as all of their coffee and using the same speciality-grade beans, Grind’s new instant blends challenge our assumptions about instant coffee by bringing premium quality into the category. The Arabica beans are sourced ethically from sustainable farms before being carefully roasted, ground, brewed, and slowly freeze-dried into soluble granules. Grind then enrich these granules with premium microground beans to give their instant coffee a fuller body and richer flavour profile, reimagining instant by prioritising exceptional taste and quality as well as environmental responsibility. Both blends can be mixed hot or cold, making a smooth and well-rounded brew in seconds.

With 65% of UK coffee drinkers choosing instant for their at-home coffee, Grind’s entry into the category with both a regular and decaf option makes their craft coffee accessible to even more people, however you like to brew. The range combines superior quality with convenience, reshaping the way we view instant coffee.

David Abrahamovitch, Grind Founder & CEO, comments: “Just as Grind revolutionised the coffee pod format, we’re now bringing the same disruption and innovation to the instant coffee category. Instant is still the most popular way to drink coffee at home in the UK, but there’s a real lack of premium options available. There’s a perception that drinking instant coffee meanssacrificing on taste and quality and we’re here to change that. Our team hasspent a long time meticulously developing our instant blendsto be the same barista quality that our customers expect, making craft coffee more accessible than ever.”
