Keystone Brewing Group has announced a new partnership with vibrant Hong Kong-based craft beer brand Gweilo Beer, adding another international name to its growing portfolio.
From October, Keystone will handle the brewing and UK-wide distribution of the full Gweilo range, which includes popular SKUs Neon Jungle IPA, Stereotropical Hazy IPA and Luminoid Alcoholic Lemonade.
The partnership reinforces Keystone’s strategy of collaborating with premium international brands, and it follows recent agreements with Bavaria-born Hofmeister and Maison SASSY, founded in France.
The deal strengthens the Group’s portfolio of challenger and established brands, with Gweilo’s vibrant, playful identity and flavour-led range set to appeal to younger craft drinkers in the UK.
Steve Cox, CEO of Keystone Brewing Group, commented: “Gweilo is an exciting, international craft brand with a bold, playful spirit that resonates with today’s drinkers. Bringing it into Keystone’s network is about scale, reach and consistency – ensuring that Gweilo’s distinctive beers are brewed to the highest standards here in the UK, making them more widely available across both the on- and off-trade.
“This announcement comes at a time of significant investment in our brewing sites, aligning to our ambition of building a £100m portfolio that champions both global and iconic British brands.”
Ian Jebbitt, the Founder of Gweilo Beer, added: “Partnering with Keystone marks an important milestone for Gweilo as we look to expand our reach across the UK. Keystone’s scale, infrastructure and distribution expertise make the team an ideal partner to help us bring our bright, adventurous beers to more customers, in more places, than ever before.”
Existing customer and trade orders will continue as usual, with all new orders placed directly through Keystone from 1 October.
Gwelio joins renowned industry names at Keystone including Black Sheep Brewery, Hofmeister, Purity, North Brewing Co., Magic Rock, Fourpure, Big Drop, Brick Brewery, Brew by Numbers, Wolfpack, People’s Captain and most recently – Laine Brew Co.
