Crabbie Whisky is giving shoppers the opportunity to win a bottle of its Limited Edition 50 Year Old Bunnahabhain Single Malt Whisky worth £5,000, as part of a new neck tag promotion with Crabbie’s Yardhead.

The competition will be running across participating retailers from April until the end of June*, with a host of other prizes to be won including bottles of Crabbie 25 year old Single Malt Whisky and 12 Year Old Speyside.

Andy Wallace, Global Marketing Manager for Whisky at Halewood Artisanal Spirits; “Crabbie’s Yardhead is a delicious non age declared single malt that’s delicious enjoyed neat, over ice, simply mixed with Ginger Ale or Cola or even replacing rum as part of a cocktail like a Pina Colada. As such, it is now the main contributor to non-aged standard malts growth[1], with 68% of sales incremental to the total Whisk(e)y category, predominantly from shoppers adding to their existing whisk(e)y repertoires[2].

“The Crabbie’s brand has a rich history of independent bottling, with the portfolio including a wide range of unique aged expressions. With our latest summer promotion, we want to provide both Crabbie’s fans and those who are new to the brand, with the opportunity to trial some of the wider products in the range. This includes everything from our Limited Edition rare 50 year old single malt from the iconic Bunnahabhain distillery to our 12 year old Speyside”.

The promotion follows Crabbie’s biggest ever ATL campaign which launched in the run up to Christmas last year, with further activity to follow for the summer season. The competition is now live in participating Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s and Co-op stores across the UK and will be running until the 25th June.
