Blue Skies is adding to its award-winning dairy-free ice cream portfolio launching a new Caffè Latte flavour in selected Waitrose.

Alongside the new flavour, the brand is updating its packaging, bringing Blue Skies to life ahead of the summer of freedom, with a blue-rimmed lid to drive standout in the frozen aisle.

The fruit experts have supplied fresh cut fruit to leading UK supermarkets for more than 20 years and similar to their fruit model, make their dairy-free ice cream in Ghana, working with local experts to source fresh coconut milk to ensure an “oh so creamy” texture with every mouthful.

As well as going above and beyond when it comes to taste, Blue Skies ensures all their farming partners receive fair prices and work closely with the local community, having invested in more than 120 health and education products through the Blue Skies Foundation.

“Hugh Pile, CEO of Blue Skies, said, “With the plant-based dairy category doubling in size over the past five years[1] and a quarter of young British millennials believing the pandemic has made a vegan diet more appealing[2], we are responding to consumer demand and expanding our range of award-winning dairy-free ice creams.

“Caffè Latte brings together our oh so creamy taste and texture with a natural coffee bean flavour to celebrate one of the nation’s favourite drinks.”

Blue Skies Caffè Latte is available in selected Waitrose stores for RRP £4.99 and joins Mango Passion Fruit and Simply Coconut on shelf.
