Shloer, the UK’s No.1 Adult Soft Drink (ASD)1, is launching a tropical new flavour which is set to refresh both consumer tastebuds and retailer fixtures. Bringing an exciting exotic angle to the leading range of sparkling fruit drinks, Limited Edition Shloer Pineapple & Lime will debut on supermarket shelves this spring.

Available in 750ml glass bottles and with a £2.25 RRP, new Shloer Pineapple & Lime will be available for a limited period of 12 months. The innovative flavour combination has already secured listings with Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons, and will also be available from Ocado.

In blending the sweet flavour of pineapple with the sharp taste of zesty lime, brand owner SHS Drinks has developed a taste combination which has been wholeheartedly endorsed by consumer research. With Shloer currently accounting for three of the top four ASD sharing bottle SKUs in grocery2, the new flavour is set to augment the brand’s existing strong position.

The launch of Pineapple & Lime will be supported by a dedicated social media and PR campaign; the new flavour will also be the featured lead variant in all consumer communications throughout 2021.

Along with all existing Shloer variants, new Pineapple & Lime contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives; it is also gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan-friendly, and halal.

Jo Hussey, head of soft drinks at SHS Drinks, says: “Summer is on the horizon and Shloer Pineapple & Lime flavour will prove the perfect accompaniment to sunny days. Shloer is well-regarded both as a fun and exciting alcohol alternative and as a quality soft drink in its own right and, with travel options restricted, our tropical new limited edition will bring a much-needed taste of the exotic into homes across the nation this year.”
