The new campaign, devised by London based creative agency Underground BLC and produced/directed by Caboose, is set to launch SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham in new formats, increasing awareness amongst a younger and wider audience, and positioning as ideal for contemporary meal occasions both in and out of the home.
To be filmed at Shepperton Studios in Middlesex, the new advertising will supersede the successful ‘SPAM™ Up’ campaign which ran for seven consecutive years. The new production is based around the strapline ‘Hammier than Ham’, with a subtle hint of slapstick humour and a specially designed Shakespearian film set.
