Belgian pastry specialist Pidy will be making its first appearance at Food & Drink Expo with a focus on its new portfolio of pastry cases for cafe society, frozen, retail and catering applications.
Pidy will be seeking new business in all sectors of the food industry. The versatility of its new products will be demonstrated by the team throughout the show and visitors to the stand will have an opportunity to taste the finished pastries and discuss with technicians how to address their individual needs.
Currently under wraps, a number of groundbreaking ideas will be unveiled at Food & Drink Expo and the company’s Trendy Shells, Sablé Breton and Artesan Quiche will be making their debut at this UK exhibition.
Its core ranges will also be on show. These include a variety of low cost canapé shells, patisserie containing 50% less fat than standard doughs, attractive cone-shaped pastries with their own artist’s palette-shaped holder and an amazing chocolate cup which can hold an end-of-meal hot coffee without dissolving in the hand. Many of the ranges on display are sold under the Pidy and Chef Laurent labels.
Of special interest will be the company’s patisserie assembly kits such as Tarto Presto, a selection of pastry cases in a box with crème patissiere and instructions on finishing fruit and other tartelettes in minutes. These are particularly geared to applications where time and skill is limited and have been designed to sit attractively on cash and carry/wholesale shelves.
If you want quality, convenience and speed of preparation, the Pidy stand is a must for all showgoers. A warm welcome awaits all our guests.
