Lindeman’s, the leading new world wine brand will be giving away 1,000 Amazon Kindles this autumn. Running from 1 August – 16 October, 412,000 promotional neck tagged bottles of Lindeman’s Bin 65 Chardonnay and Bin 50 Shiraz will offer consumers the chance to win one of 1,000 Amazon Kindles or a £10 Amazon gift voucher.

Consumers can enter the promotion on line using a code contained on the neck tag and will instantly be in with a chance of winning one of these top selling e-readers, which retail at £111.  The promotion will benefit from a strong advertising presence outside stores and in customer media.

The promotion is designed to tie with Lindeman’s’ online Wine & Book Club activity which launched in March this year. The brand has undertaken extensive consumer research to identify books as a key platform to drive engagement with its target consumers in the 50+ demographic.

Lindeman’s Senior Brand Manager Rebecca Haigh says: “The Lindeman’s Wine & Book Club has already attracted over 5,000 facebook followers underlining the strength of this association which is set to be furthered through this promotion. A strong advertising presence in customer media and outside stores will ensure consumers will be looking out for neck tagged bottles in store, so retailers should be sure to stock up before the promotion goes live in August.”

Bin 65 Chardonnay and Bin 50 Shiraz are the two flagship wines of the Lindeman’s range. Together they are worth over £20million in value sales and are trusted by consumers to deliver premium quality wine at an attainable RRP of £8.49.
