The new-look, easier to use website, went live this week and includes a new recipe section accessible to both novice and avid game cooks; easy to navigate butcher and restaurant listings enabling consumers to find their nearest stockists; up-to-date information on Game-to-Eat and Craft Guild of Chefs accredited workshops for chefs; plus the site includes quotes from Game-to-Eat supporting chefs such as Mark Hix and Phil Vickery.
The new look site launches at a time when the popularity of game is ever increasing. Latest figures released from TNS Worldpanel consumption confirms game in the UK has risen by *15% to 31.7m occasions in the last year.
The website also offers free promotional materials for butchers and game dealers to help drive sales.
