Rustlers joins the family

Kepak Convenience Foods is adding value to its market-leading hot snacking range Rustlers, with the launch of a new on pack promotion. The promotion will feature the Twentieth Century Fox animated cartoon series 'Family Guy' which is currently enjoying massive success Tuesday evenings on BBC3 and has just entered its sixth season, the raunchiest ever season of the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning comedy animation. The promotion offers consumers the chance to enter into a competition to 'Win a trip to Hollywood and be part of the family!' to celebrate the release of the Family Guy Season 6 DVD Boxset on the 15th October. It will feature on all standard packs of Rustlers and will help retailers drive sales, increasing profit opportunities. Kepak Convenience Foods UK Sales Director, Peter Fazal says the on pack promotional activity will generate added interest to an already exciting category. "The 'Family Guy' animated, humorous cartoon series appeals to 15-34 year olds, and is the perfect fit to appeal to Rustlers consumers, who are also of a similar age." The on pack promotion will give consumers the chance to enter a competition to win a money can't buy trip to Hollywood where the animation artists from Fox will do an exclusive original drawing of the winner with the rest of the Family Guy characters. There will also be a number of runner-up DVD prizes to be won, courtesy of Fox. The promotion is an instant win competition for consumers, with the winning and losing messages written on the hot plate of the Rustlers products, telling them which fantastic prize they have won. This year's £4.5 million marketing campaign is Rustlers' biggest ever annual spend which includes TV advertising support, on-pack promotions, new point of sale and merchandising.
