Pilgrims Choice strengthens marketing team

Pilgrims Choice, the £50m* cheese brand, is strengthening its marketing team with the appointment of Zoe Boulton as Marketing Assistant.

Reporting to Pilgrims Choice Brand Manager Hannah Fordred, Zoe will be responsible for organising and running exhibitions and shows, co-ordinating PR, launches and packaging redesigns, maintaining the website and producing monthly data on brand activity and performance. She will also provide POS support to the sales team when required and support the Brand Manager in all areas of marketing activity.

Zoe previously worked at Gemma International, a licensed greeting card supplier, where she gained two years' experience working as a Marketing Assistant after leaving Bournemouth University.

Hannah Fordred said: "We are very pleased Zoe has joined our extremely busy Marketing department. I'm sure she will be a great asset to the business, as she has the relevant skills, bags of energy and enthusiasm. She is looking forward to putting in place our exciting marketing plans for the rest of 2007 and 2008.

"This year we've invested heavily in the brand with our biggest support programme to date which has included new packaging, TV and press advertising, trade and consumer PR and a heavyweight sampling programme. Further activity will be announced over the next few months to ensure Pilgrims Choice goes from strength to strength over the next 12 months."
