Lituanica - A taste of Eastern Europe
 Exhibiting on Stand F22 at World Food Market 2007, Lituanica Ltd is the UK and Ireland's biggest importer and distributor of Eastern European food and drink.
The first Lituanica Ltd warehouse in the British Isles opened in Dublin in spring 2001, while the company made its way to the UK market in 2003. Recently Lituanica opened the doors of a new warehouse in Barking, London, where customers can find an even bigger variety of food products from different Eastern European countries.
Rasa Apostol at Lituanica UK Ltd says: "Our twin objectives are to satisfy the needs of the many consumers from East Europe who live and work here, and to introduce UK customers to these new cuisines."
To achieve that aim Lituanica's experienced buyers are working closely with well-known producers from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, and Germany. Lituanica UK Ltd currently supplies over 200 convenience stores, grocery shops and wholesalers in different parts of England, and is constantly consolidating its capacity by increasing the variety of stock and improving customer service.
As well as expanding its presence in UK retail outlets, Lituanica's finest food stores can be found in London Bridge, Gravesend, Kent, Ipswich, Suffolk and Birmingham.
