Verco launches new refrigerated 'inline merchandiser' cabinet

Verco Limited, one of the UK's leading suppliers of refrigerated cabinets to the retail sector, has launched a new integral open-chill cabinet designed to fit within the 1.2m module of an ambient shelving system. Based on the company's existing Cambridge range - and driven by market requirements and Verco's own customer feedback - the new Inline Merchandiser offers high efficiency with low running costs and noise output thanks to its use of the latest compact, horizontal rotary compressor. Heat rejection is also considerably reduced due to the refrigeration system's use of heat to re-evaporate the condensate. To maximise visual merchandising for supermarkets, convenience stores and forecourt shops, the cabinet's compact design has a footprint to align with 600mm base shelf ambient systems. It additionally offers three shelves plus the base for BWS, and five shelves plus base for dairy merchandising, and is available initially in a width to suit the 1.2m ambient module, with a 1m format to follow. Bespoke sizes will be considered subject to customer demand. Verco's Sales and Marketing Director Colin Jones says that the Inline Merchandiser sets new standards in space, merchandising and energy efficiency and is designed to integrate completely with a store's existing shelving. It can also be finished in customers' corporate colour schemes to further enhance the integrated look.
