For the first time, the company's three new and distinctive brands will be on display and available for tasting during regular sample-sessions during the four day show. One of the latest and most successful new product additions is the Breckland Free Range Duckling which will be showcased at the event. This premium duckling is outdoor raised on grass fields in the heart of Norfolk using top standards of animal husbandry. They are slow grown and are fed a highly nutritious, specially formulated vegetable diet free from any additives and growth promotion supplements. With unlimited access to fresh air, clean water and outdoor shelters, the ducks have real freedom of movement in their natural farm environment. As a result they have recently won the RSPCA's Freedom Food accolade for quality. This new Freedom Food labelled duck is reared specifically for its flavoursome, succulent, lean meat content and sold as a delicious alternative to chicken for roasting with seasonal vegetables. The new Class A whole ducking is just one product from a new range of fresh Breckland Free Range Duckling products. In addition to whole ducks, MFD Foods is also supplying breast fillets and legs. All products are available in both fresh and frozen formats. Traditional barn-raised duckings, now also Freedom Food approved, are also available fresh, frozen and in portions. The newly repositioned Manor Farm Ducklings brand in its newly evolved red, black and gold packaging is unrivalled in terms of quality and consistent cooking characteristics thanks to improved chilling and processing techniques. Product weights available range from 2.4kg - 3.2kg. Also available from MFD Foods is a tempting choice of fresh and frozen Oriental recipe variations available under the authentically-named 'Dalee - Simply the Best' brand. These include Duck Legs in Plum, Sweet Chilli or Orange sauce and Sliced Roast Duck with Authentic Thai Curry sauce. The Aromatic Duck is also available to the retail sector bagged in a no-fuss, shredded format, ideal for making pancakes, sandwiches and wraps.
