California Raisin winners spend a day with Lesley Waters!

In 2006, California Raisins gave readers the opportunity to enter a competition to win a day with Lesley Waters. The competition involved sending in healthy recipe ideas using California Raisins, and the winners were then selected by Lesley herself and included in a healthy California Raisins recipe book. The lucky nine winners have recently enjoyed their prize of a night in The Summer Lodge Country House Hotel and Spa and a day cookery course with Lesley Waters. The day included a hands on cookery course, where they were able to recreate dishes that Lesley demonstrated. Each winner then had the added delight of sampling their very own dishes for lunch. Celebrity chef Lesley, combined with her quick wit and fabulous culinary skills provided a thoroughly entertaining day of cooking. Everyone left with a giveaway bag, brimming with information on where to purchase the ingredients Lesley had used throughout the day and best of all some California Raisin samples!
