A straightforward audit process Thanks to the long-standing relationship between the companies and the understanding SGS auditors have built up of the company's business, the BRC audit took one day to complete, without disruption to business. SGS auditors spent time with senior managers, asking for proof and documentation of all documented processes. "They were very thorough - checking documentation and talking to operators who were expected to have their own documentation up to date." The company was certified to BRC in May 2007, and as a result plans more PR to attract more business in the future.
