Kepak Convenience Foods is taking its humorous advertising campaign to the roads for Rustlers, the UK's number one hot snacking range.
A fleet of lorries will spread the word nationwide, featuring tongue in cheek advertising, playing on the popular trend of writing graffiti on the back of a dirty truck, to bring a smile to motorists up and down the land.
The lorries will feature a cheeky strapline and a best-selling product from Rustlers' seven-strong range. People will also be reminded that Rustlers goes from 0-tasty in just 70 seconds.
The lorries are being used to support the Rustlers brand, displaying three products from the seven-strong range; 'The Big One,' carrying the strapline: "My missus loves a Big One," 'Sausage & Bacon Breakfast Bap,' with "I love it in the morning" and 'Chicken Tikka Naan' "I love a spicy bit on the side!"
"The lorry campaign builds on Rustlers' distinctive TV advertising that has undoubtedly captured people's imagination. Like the Rustlers TV campaign the lorry designs may raise a few eyebrows but will certainly get the brand noticed and bring a wry smile to people as they journey around the country," says Peter Fazal, Kepak Convenience Foods' Sales Director.
The vehicles, supplied by Abbey Roadtanks, will transport the Rustlers products around the country from its Lancashire production site.
Kepak Convenience Foods has doubled this year's annual brand investment in Rustlers, with a £4.5 million spend scheduled for 2007.
Year-long marketing will include highest ever levels of TV advertising support, new product launches, on-pack promotions, new point of sale and merchandising, viral marketing campaigns and national product sampling.
