Wellfoods have scooped the first prize in the 2010 FreeFrom Food Awards from Foodsmatter.com for their pizza base. They came out on top against tough competition in the Pizza bases and mixes and readymade pastry and pastry mixes category.
In their citation the judges said, “If you like deep pan pizzas this is the business – real focaccia taste and texture – tasty and soft. And it is dairy free as well as gluten and wheat free.”
