Building on the continued success of the Rug Doctor rental programme in the UK, Rug Doctor Ltd is pleased to announce two important Sales appointments. Adam Tailby joins the company as National Accounts Controller with special responsibility for the company’s major DIY, Grocery and Dry Cleaning multiple accounts while Barry Jenkins takes up a new role of Key Account Manager in support of Adam.
Adam has a wealth of sales experience as a National Account Manager within the Consumer Electronics industry having over 10 years experience working for such blue chip companies as Sony and most recently as a Channel Director for Hoover Candy.
“Rug Doctor is the biggest and best carpet cleaning machine rental brand in the world and to have the opportunity to head up their UK National Accounts at a time when their distribution is increasing at such a rapid pace was too good to miss. I’m delighted to be joining such a strong team,” says Adam.
Barry joined Rug Doctor as a Field Service Engineer in 2006 from Lyreco where he was a Field Sales Executive. He has now been promoted to Key Account Manager from his current position of National Training Manager. Barry is a fully qualified electrical and mechanical engineer and has been awarded many sales achievement awards while he has been at the company.
“The next few years will see tremendous further growth for Rug Doctor and I feel very lucky to be in this new key account role as, with my intimate knowledge of the brand, I feel I can make a real contribution to its continued success,” says Barry.
