SPATONE® Liquid Iron is excited to announce the launch of a brand new ATL campaign for 2015 which will include vibrant new creative assets and a 150% increase in media investment. The campaign will position the natural liquid iron supplement as a handbag and gym bag companion for active women, helping them maintain their normal energy levels and keep up with their busy lifestyles.

Spatone-AppleThe campaign will be seen at over 300 prime outdoor media sites across London and Manchester with a focus on places such as Regents Park, Richmond Park and Hyde Park, reaching those people leading active lifestyles. This will be supported by indoor advertising and sampling at 130 gyms including Soho Gyms, David Lloyd Leisure and Nuffield Health. Print advertising will also appear in a range of consumer sporting and health titles such as Women’s Health, Runner’s World and Women’s Fitness as well as advertorials in the popular women’s weekly title Hello! magazine from February to April. All this activity will coincide with ongoing celebrity endorsement activity for 2015 from iron woman and active mum Alex Gerrard.

Ngaire Mitchell, SPATONE Senior Brand Manager commented: “We’re really thrilled about our new campaign and believe the timing of both our outdoor and indoor advertising will help make SPATONE Apple the first choice iron supplement for women leading active, healthy lifestyles. Recent research we conducted has shown that 46% of the active female population feel run down and 24% feel they are low in iron. By combining advertising, sampling and celebrity endorsement, we will be able to deliver a 360º campaign which will clearly communicate the benefits SPATONE offers to consumers.”

SPATONE contains Spatone iron rich water sourced from the Welsh mountains of Snowdonia National Park – which has been scientifically proven to help top up your iron levels whilst causing fewer of the unpleasant side effects often experienced with conventional iron food supplements. Generally, iron is a very difficult mineral for the body to absorb however, the iron naturally present in SPATONE has been shown to be easily absorbed, with an average of 40% bioavailability, compared to 5- 20% from food and other iron supplements.
