Uttoxeter-based crisp manufacturer, Glennans, happily enjoying a boom in demand for their speciality vegetable based snacks, looked no further than a neighbouring business to fulfil their pressing requirement for additional storage space at their production site in the town.
Spaciotempo, located right opposite Glennans on the Dovefields Industrial Estate, is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of temporary buildings and structures for storage and warehousing purposes and was able to react quickly and efficiently to the request for the long term hire of storage facilities. A 10m x 20m aluminium framed structure was erected within a month of the initial enquiry to provide valuable additional capacity.
The building, which has been hired for an initial period of 2 years, was installed on-site, adjacent to the existing factory – directly onto a hard standing surface. Two roller shutter doors were specified for fork lift use with an additional personnel door located to one side for the safe passage of staff.
Manufactured to BS standards, the building has snow and wind loadings equivalent to permanent structures and features a durable pvc coated polyester roof, which allows a full eaves height of 5m; perfect for ceiling height racking and shelving systems.
