After its success in 2016, SPAM® Can Tour has been hitting major towns and cities across the UK again this year, including first visits to Scotland and Wales. From May to August 2017, the specially designed eye catching vintage airstream has been creating a buzz and showing thousands of people how SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham is “more than just a square meal”.
Serving up more than 50,000 samples, the tour visited key locations in Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Blackpool and Cardiff.
Visitors flocked to the airstream to sample cubes of sizzling SPAM® Chopped Pork and Ham, served with cheese or pineapple, play games to win SPAM Brand merchandise and enjoy at SPAMBURGER™. They also picked up a free commemorative recipe lanyard to show off the true versatility of SPAM® Products, giving lots of ideas on how to cook SPAM® Products at home and in the great outdoors.
The tour generated lots of media attention reaching an audience of more than 10 million, while a special tour hashtag #SPAMCanTour charted the tour’s success on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
