Fresh soup specialist New Covent Garden is delivering rich flavour and seasonal ingredients to consumers with its first Soup of the Month for 2013.
January’s edition, ‘Winter Broth with Bacon & Curly Kale’, is a warming and satisfying soup featuring smoky bacon, winter vegetables, baby lima beans and a sprinkling of barley.
“Our cooks have created a soup which is intended to start consumers off on the right foot in the new year, meeting the demand for satisfying comfort food during January,” says Nick Munby, Marketing Manager for New Covent Garden Soup Co. “Made with the freshest seasonal ingredients, the soup features rich, delicious flavours which are bound to have consumers returning to the fixture for more.”
This latest Soup of the Month is in keeping with the brand’s new core message, ‘Fresh from our kitchen to yours’, which highlights how New Covent Garden’s creative cooks deliver the best possible taste to consumers.
“Our cooks are passionate about producing soups which are bursting with flavour, and the latest Soup of the Month is no exception,” says Munby.

Winter Broth with Bacon & Curly Kale is available in outers of six, with an RRP of £2.20.
