Scandinavian Tobacco UK considers the biggest trend in the cigar category a moment to savour with new launch

The Scandinavian Tobacco Group United Kingdom Limited (ST Group UK Limited) has announced the wide-spread launch of Moments, a new range of miniature cigars that will capitalise on the rapidly growing consumer demand for Value For Money (VFM) products. The roll-out of the Moments brand to STG UK’s family of tobacco products follows successful trials in the grocery multiples and is available in cash and carries nationwide.

Available to retailers now at an MRRP of £3.31, Moments is available in two variants, Moments Blue and Moments Original, and is packaged in a distinctive crush-proof tin of ten quality cigars. The range is available in 10 x 10 outers and the competitive price point is designed to drive strong rate of sale, appealing to cash-conscious smokers that have already demonstrated strong demand for the range during the initial trials.

VFM – A fully established cigar trend

However, we’ve realised that the market has moved on and a VFM segment has clearly developed in the category in the past few months.
