Launched in 1995, ‘Me to You’ is a major license brand worldwide and one of the top selling sentiment characters in the UK, featuring on a huge range of greetings cards, gift and lifestyle products.
Beacon has exclusive rights to chocolate confectionery under the ‘Me to You’ brand. Says Beacon co-founder, Deborah Williams: “Apart from the character having a huge following, I think the success of the ‘Me to You’ selection is that it’s a very efficient box and fits well on shelf. At £2.99, the price point is just right and consumers feel they are getting really good value for a quality product.”

Says Deborah Williams: “Although there are masses of licensed confectionery products on the market, most of them are aimed at kids, and we believe we have a different sort of offering. We felt there was a gap in the market for more premium products, hence our Belgian chocolate, and also for a character with a broader age appeal such as ‘Me to You’.”
