Leading dispenser manufacturer Rieke Dispensing has scooped a prestigious award in HighGrowth East Midlands, a flagship business support programme run by the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) which is designed to increase profits, enhance competitiveness and create the conditions for long-term success.The Leicester-based company picked up the Growth Readiness Award, which is won by the organisation that shows outstanding growth potential and a clear vision for growth. This is in recognition of the 22% growth in sales Rieke Dispensing achieved in 2008 and its further growth plans for 2009 and beyond
Rieke Dispensing is a market leader in pumps and dispensers for the pharmaceutical, personal care and food and drink sectors, with a blue-chip customer base including Unilever, Starbucks L’Oréal, Reckitt Benckiser and Schering Plough.
More than 70 companies from across the East Midlands are currently participating in HighGrowth East Midlands and Rieke Dispensing successfully fought off stiff competition from other finalists thanks to its innovation and impressive business development.

The award was presented at a special ceremony which was hosted by Angela Rippon OBE and featured a keynote speech by Sir Ranulph Fiennes BT OBE to honour the programme’s top achievers.
