Alison Handling Services Ltd the UK’s largest stockist of new and used plastic containers, is now able to offer a range of retail stack/nest crates that comply with the accepted industry standards. These containers nest up to 76% when empty saving valuable storage space and more importantly reducing the return transportation costs and the effects they have on the environment.
The containers are available in three sizes and are ideal for retail distribution of fresh produce, fruit and vegetables, dairy and meat products. The containers work from the field right through to point of sale display saving expensive double handling and labour costs.
The standard container measures 600 x 400 x 199 mm giving 35 litres capacity and it can carry 165kg on the base tray when stacked. The basket is available from stock in three colours, with customer specials available on quantities as low as 1,000 pieces.
Manufactured in the UK to the highest industry standards, the baskets are already being sold successfully to various industries including retail, meat, poultry, food processing and horticulture.
The range of stack/nest containers are all moulded in first grade polypropylene. As well as being reusable, at the end of their life they are fully recyclable.
