Retail Business Technology Expo has established itself as a crucial event for the retail industry following its launch at Earls Court. Visitors and exhibitors gave the event a huge thumbs up, hailing it as an overwhelming success, with over 4,200 visitors flocking to the exhibition and seminar programme.

Nick Field, Event Director, said, “Our visitor list is a who’s who of the UK’s top retailers. We also had an impressive overseas attendance of several hundred retailers from right around the world, with visitors from Ireland, France, Holland, Germany and the USA.  The 2012 event will be held in London on 14th & 15th March and it is set to grow significantly. When we started to engage with the retail industry in the early planning stages, it became clear that there was a great demand for an event of this nature and the visitor figures prove that Retail Business Technology Expo has clearly hit a nerve with the UK’s huge and highly influential retail technology industry.”

The event focused on business solutions and technology for the retail and hospitality industries and featured a comprehensive range of solutions with a free informative and interactive education programme incorporating seminars, workshops, and inspirational features plus a host of networking opportunities and hospitality – all under one roof.  The main Retail Business Technology Expo was combined with a dedicated Cards & Payments Solutions exhibition and conference, in association with Vendorcom under the one roof, making it a must-visit event for the industry, and industry decision-makers attended in great numbers.

Nick Field, Event Director, continued, “Although there was a clear need for Retail Business Technology Expo and Cards & Payments Solutions and the prospects were promising, we are delighted with its exceptional success. Visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, supporting media and associations feedback was unanimous – it exceeded expectations. Particular praise was reserved for the outstanding seminar programme, the networking opportunities and the range of innovative exhibitors.”
