The fast-growing, nutritious snack brand, Real Handful, today announces that it will make its debut into the kids snacking market with the launch of BUNDLZ.  The two-strong range of yoghurt coated clusters will launch into 264 Sainsbury’s stores on 13th January, followed by Ocado later in the month.

Designed to offer a ‘better’ alternative in the kids treat snack sector, BUNDLZ feature oats, cereal and raisins ‘bundled’ up in either strawberry and raspberry yoghurt or apple and blackberry yoghurt.   Each variant is made with real dried fruit, is high in fibre, has under 90 calories per serving and up to 40% less sugar compared with other kids yoghurt snacks on the market.

Reflecting the recent Real Handful rebrand, the packaging brings to life its fun and ‘unruly’ personality and features new hand-drawn character illustrations and bold colours. The products will be available in both single serve 20g packs (RSP. £0.60) which are launching into Ocado and multipacks of five (RSP. £2.50) which will be taken by both Sainsbury’s and Ocado.

Real Handful was first launched to market by Joe Taylor in 2016 and has the principles of Unruly Flavour and Natural Nutrition at its core as it seeks to create exciting new snacking options for busy UK households. The introduction of BUNDLZ follows an impressive 2018 for the brand, which saw it enter the plant protein bar market, unveil a new look and secure a host of new listings including Sainsbury’s Local, WHSmith Travel and Sourced Market.

Today, Joe is joined by his wife Carly, previously Head of Marketing at The Authentic Food Company, as they look to drive forward the continued success of the brand and cement its place as a key player in the kids snacking market.  Overall the Real Handful brand is forecast to grow at least 300% in 2019.

Carly Taylor, Co-Founder, says, “We’ve spent two years developing and trialling BUNDLZ and can’t wait to launch, grow and continue to develop this range.  As parents of three busy boys we were always looking for convenient but better-for-them treats to keep them fuelled.  We noticed a real gap in the market for fruit and yoghurt based snacks that are not only fun and delicious but use real fruit rather than fruit pulp and less yoghurt.  Introducing the crispy texture of cereal and oats makes BUNDLZ a unique and fun snack to enjoy and also helps add more fibre whilst reducing the overall sugar level.

Joe Taylor, Co-Founder, says, “The reaction from kids, parents and customers so far has been overwhelmingly positive. We are delighted to be working with Sainsbury’s for this nationwide roll out and have exciting plans to innovate further in this space.”
