2009 has been a year of positive growth for Wing Yip, with an increase in sales across the group and exceptional growth at the expanded Cricklewood store.
Wing Yip is widely recognised as the UK’s leading Chinese grocer, with four superstores in Birmingham, Manchester, Cricklewood (London) and Croydon (London) and further stores planned for Nottingham and Cardiff.
The superstore and warehouse at Cricklewood is housed in an impressive 64,000 sq ft Oriental style building, with a free underground car park. Cricklewood offers an extensive range of quality products, sourced from a wide range of Far Eastern suppliers and manufacturers.
The new Business Centre, located next to the Cricklewood superstore, provides a genuine “China Town” setting, with 12 business units serving the Oriental and local community. The wide range of specialist services in the centre includes: a Chinese restaurant; bakery; travel agent; printer; hairdresser; acupuncturist and other services.
The stand alone office building, China House, is currently being fitted out and will offer 20,000 sq ft of banking and office space, spread over four floors.
