OilVie the oil of life

For thousands of years the olive tree is the fruit of “living” in the Mediterranean region. This precious gift of nature is a living heritage, associated with many areas of our lives. The resulting Olive Oil nourishes, sustains, protects, tones, heals and inspires. Our family has cultivated its own olive groves in Kalamata in the Southern part of the Peloponnese area and extracted pure extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality for our own use.

OILVIE_BOTTLES[1] After we realized that our olive oil was of such quality we wanted to share it with the rest of the world. We wanted to let people know what we mean when we say that Greece is the True Source of Premium Olive Oil. That’ s how OilVie (the oil of life) was created.

Moreover, we believe Greek gastronomy is somehow underrepresented abroad. Therefore, we decided to export Greek products of highest quality and taste only from small producers. Our product portfolio includes delicious full of aroma and taste sundried tomatoes and paste from Crete, hand picked green small olives from Crete, traditional and very flavoursome rusks from the remote village Askifou in Crete, traditional homemade goat’s milk noodles from Kalamata, aromatic extra virgin thyme honey and hand picked wild capers from the island of Sifnos.

We have also launched a special DIY Kit to create your Own Homemade Infused Olive Oil. The kit is a luxurious box and contains a bottle of extra virgin olive-oil OilVie 250ml, three different sachets of herbs and spices, an olive-tree wooden mortar & pestle locally crafted and of course instructions and recipes of how to prepare and use the infused olive oil. It is an excellent gift for the gastronomy adventurous people.

Our company that bottles EVOO OilVie and imports to the UK these Greek traditional products was established in 2014 in the UK.

You can find our products online in our e-shop www.tastexplorers.com and selected food festivals in the UK – Foodies and the Taste of London. We are in the process of setting up a network in the UK market.
