Smint 2in1 packs will feature the Breast Cancer Care Pink Ribbon and 5p from the sale of every pack will be donated to the charity from Smint’s parent company, Perfetti Van Melle.
Every year 50,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer and the money will be used to ensure Breast Cancer Care can continue to provide excellent free support and information to anyone dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis.
Available from March, Smint 2in1 combines Raspberry and Lemon flavours in one refreshing pastille to deliver a fresh and fruity sensation. Each Smint pastille has two layers, a pink raspberry flavoured and a yellow lemon flavoured layer that deliver a delightful mix of fruit flavours. Available in its unique ‘one at a time’ dispenser box, the new variety will appeal to female consumers looking for a fresh and fruity taste in stylish and convenient packaging.
Smint is sugar-free and is endorsed by Toothfriendly international.
The launch will be supported by an extensive national sampling and PR campaign as well as a poster campaign and new POS for retailers.
Aimee Reason, Brand Manager at Perfetti Van Melle, said: “Our partnership with Breast Cancer Care is an exciting step for the brand and one that we know consumers will also appreciate.
“Smint continues to be one of the top performing sugar free mint brands in the UK, and Smint 2in1 will help draw new female consumers into the category and will deliver strong returns for retailers.”
