Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCD&T) is extending its GALAXY hot chocolate range and launching two new exciting products in time for the 2010 Hot Chocolate season.
With the £100m hot chocolate market already growing by 3 per cent year on year*, MCD&T believes it can accelerate this growth with two ground-breaking new products.
Pioneering a new frothy category, the GALAXY ‘Frothy Top’ silky smooth hot chocolate will significantly boost the jars category. The clever combination of ingredients produces a genuine frothy top, so consumers can benefit from a coffee-shop style drink in the comfort of their own home.
MCD&T will also introduce the new GALAXY Ultra Smooth ‘Chocolate Cup’, its latest ready-to-drink hot chocolate. A microwavable hot chocolate, this indulgent treat delivers a satisfying and comforting drink, which leaves no powdery residue in the bottom of the cup.
The GALAXY Instant brand continues to grow well ahead of the market at +23% year on year*. Both new products join the successful GALAXY Instant Hot Chocolate 370g, which is the top selling instant hot chocolate in the market, as it is currently stands as the number one rate of sale SKU.
