pete-howarth-and-choc-barsUK CHOCOLATE bar lovers worried about the recent sale of Cadbury’s to US food manufacturing giant Kraft have been offered a new brand of British-made confectionery from June 2010.

British Butler, which was formed just this year and is based in Bristol, has launched two new ‘best of British’ chocolate biscuit and wafer bars and is selling the products worldwide.

Director, Peter Howarth explained: “British Butler is giving the nation’s food manufacturing, and chocolate manufacturing in particular, a huge boost. We’re supporting the very best of British by bringing out these bars, which are called Snapper and Lash.

“Initially, three product lines will be available under the British Butler brand. The ‘Lash’ caramel wafer bar will be available in an eight-pack multi-pack and the slightly thinner ‘Lash Value’ will be sold in a five bar multi-pack. The Snapper chocolate biscuit bar completes the range and is sold as a six bar multi-pack.”

The British Butler range, which is being marketed all over the world as well as in this country, is British-owned and manufactured wholly in the UK.

Peter added: “British Butler products are a new generation of chocolate biscuit and wafer bars that maintain traditional British values from a long history of quality food manufacturing, while building in a new vibrant lease of life to the mix.

“They have bright, fun packaging and a look fitting for the 21st century. There is a great pride that these new products are British to the core and the Butler emblem personifies that.
