Symington’s-owned brand Naked Noodle celebrated Chinese New Year alongside the Leeds Chinese Community Association, bringing traditional, oriental performances to the city centre.

On Friday 16th February, authentic convenience food manufacturer based in Leeds, Naked Noodle, brought Chinese New Year to Leeds city centre with Chinese lion dances and a traditional Fortune God appearance, performed by the Leeds Chinese Community Association (LCCA). The LCCA is a registered charity that own and maintain the Chinese Community Centre, providing social, cultural, recreational and educational activities for Leeds’ Chinese community.

Visitors to the city centre enjoyed authentic Chinese performances, whilst receiving free pots of Naked Noodle product. Passers-by also had the opportunity to win a year’s supply of Naked Noodle product.

Not only were we able to showcase traditional Chinese performance in Leeds, but we supported a really great charity. Being able to do this at one of Leeds’ main shopping streets meant that we were able to create amazing impact, with Naked Noodle hosting a fantastic day of celebration!”

Naked Noodle is an authentic snacking product, available in a range of pan-Asian flavours and stocked at major retailers nationwide. Flavours include Chinese Chow Mein, Cantonese Hoisin Duck, Chinese Firecracker Chicken, Thai Sweet Chilli, and Thai Green Curry, as well as a selection of Ramen soups.
